Hi its AJ & Bill we’re just trying to stay dry this week. We had a good crew here to work on Sunday but the weather didn’t help. It was wet and muddy so getting anything done was hard. Even during the week when Jeff came up to help gather firewood it rained. On the positive side we didn’t have to fill the water buckets much this week. The ground is so wet that we had an invasion of large black ants. They thought our tent would be a nice dry place to set up a new home. AJ has been ok with the bugs but this was the last straw and she had a hard time with the moving wall of several hundred ants.
Hi Bill & AJ, Sprinkle some ground cinnamin around that is supposed to keep ants away. It worked here, sent the running for the hills, and the tent will smell like cinnamon tea or you could spread cornmeal around and they take it back to the hive and they can not digest it, but then again.
