| Land Purchase On Sept 19,2007 We closed the purchase of 200 acres of land and rights to purchase the remaining 135 acres within one year. This site is about 1 mile from any other houses an is on the very top of a mountain. Now the hard work begins. We need to rebuild almost 3 miles of road, finish the site for more pens and plan on a education center. Your donations are greatly need to help with the relocation expenses. We have to improve the site, buy and put up fencing, etc. Help us keep these animals alive and keep our mission going. |
| We have completed the move to our new location and moved the last animal into its new home on the last day before the deadline. The best part was no animals or humans were hurt in the move. We now have to make plans to rebuild the bridge and roadway to our property. Anyone interested in helping this spring with the road or has equipment to help please let us know. As of right now the only way to the rescue is to cross the bridge on foot then take a snowmobile ride up the 2.8 mile ride up the mountain. As always there is a need for funding to rebuild our operating account .
